Westdijk Special Transport BV has transported in August 2009 a part of the new renewable diesel plant for the Finnish company Neste Oil to its final destination on the Maasvlakte in the Port of Rotterdam. Neste builds a new renewable diesel plant which will have a annual production of 800,000 metric tons and uses palm oil, rapeseed oil and waste animal fat sourced from the food industry as feedstock.An investment of € 670 million, which will create over 100 jobs.

This vessel, produced in Italy, is over 38m long, 6m60 wide and has a height of over 9m, with a weight of about 210t. We have used 22 Goldhofer axlelines, moved on by our newest M.A.N. in the fleet, a TGX 41.680 for this transport used as ballasttruck, with assistence of an 8x4-DAF truck.
The infrastructure, as far as present, was made fit for the passage of this transport.
